JUANITA FLORES

Juanita Flores, a realtor with Prudential California Realty recently spoke about her experience with Santa Clara County ROP.

Juanita was a student in the Computer Applications class at Gavilan College with Instructor Annette Hernandez. She contributes her present success and self-confidence to her experience in this program.

"As a beginning computer student, I had little experience with Microsoft Office and was lacking in confidence regarding computers. Annette was very patient and professional and I never felt any question was too stupid to ask. She made the material very understandable."

"Thanks to her class and my newly acquired skills and confidence, I was offered a position with the City of Morgan Hill. I later decided to return to school as a full time student and took courses toward my real estate license. As a realtor, I use my computer skills in Word, Excel and Power Point daily."

"I think these skills are important for almost any occupation and I am constantly encouraging my friends to enroll in the program. I became what I am now professionally thanks to my Computer Applications Class."
